Dohrn Expands Presence in Waterloo

Dohrn Transfer Company is pleased to announce the opening of a new 8 door terminal in Waterloo, Iowa. The expansion is in response to growth in the Northern Iowa area. Upon startup of the addition, Dohrn initially added 4 drivers to the team. The intent is to expand that number as we build new business in the area.

“Having a terminal in Waterloo has given us additional options for strict delivery requirements to satisfy our customers,” states vice president of operations, Russ Sheffler. “We have the ability to linehaul the freight during the night and have it ready to go out for delivery from the local terminal in the morning thus arriving to our customers earlier.”

The Waterloo area was previously serviced out of the Rock Island, IL and Mason City, IA terminals.
